ive never owned a chains, and im not sacrificing my bfgoodrich ati's for some cheesy overpriced snow tires that wear out on dirt.
Ive driven on every type of terrain from earth, water, ice, fire and even air.
Back in california they use chains, fkn hell if its got a dusting of snow on the ground they have to pull off and chain it up.
Only chains i see out here are on plow trucks.
those studded tires are a mess too.
Ive never crashed into anything other than snowbanks, or that one guardrail... but to be fair that wasn't from lack of traction, it was either keep it up on 2 wheels around the turn or straighten it out. God i miss that truck.
