*While we crash and burn, small, low tech, agrarian societies such as the Hmong in the mountains of Laos will continue on without so much as blinking an eye.*

Six years ago previously, a NASA probe returning to earth with samples of an alien life form, crashed over Central America. Soon after, new life forms began to appear, and half of Mexico was quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain "the creatures"... The story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.

You must be talking about RED.
Yes it is a very nice film and I would say well worth paying to view it in a top rate movie house.
Good money spent.
In fact it (as every link I post) is best seen on the BIG screen in full surround sound.

Morgan Freeman should have had more face time I think.
I remember him all the way back to when he was a "kid" in the movie Dr.Strangelove (I have a rar'ed copy...and saw it in the movie house when it first came out!).
Listed by the US Library of Congress as one of most important films of the 1900's.
http://www.google.com/search?q=Dr.Stranglove+&rls=com.microsoft:en-us&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&startIndex=&startPage=1

Morgan Freeman has never been in a "bad movie".

The MONSTERS file I linked to has corrupted/choppy audio...I will post an update when/if I find one.

SALT is a good movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZ40WlshNwU

Angelina Jolie stars in Salt, a contemporary action thriller from Columbia Pictures.
As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt (Jolie) swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt's efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: "Who Is Salt?"
