Not bad, but it wont be cheap xD

will be seriously expensive no doubt new tech usually costs mate , wait untill the price goes down when theres a bit more competition.

Those will probably replace our current HDs in a few years.

In my new build I do not have any HD's...just one 1 TB SSD that runs faster than the one I started this topic about back in 2009 and at a fraction of the cost and size.
Boot time to desktop is just under 5 seconds from powering on the system and games load and connect to the internet in under 2 sec.

Same with a stander HD.

The difference is if the controller on the SSD goes for a walk while under warranty the will install new chip and the data will still be on the drive.
