OFP2 from E3

*While we crash and burn, small, low tech, agrarian societies such as the Hmong in the mountains of Laos will continue on without so much as blinking an eye.*

If it is for consoles too I have my doubts. I have never seen a good game for the pc that's also available for consoles. Well, apart from GTA (but it had been better if it was a PC-exclusive) and Worms (but worms is that kind of game).

Wow. Actual in-game footage. Real places wow. Building destruction.
That looks very promising.

Said it before and I'll say it again
OFP2>ArmA2

Notice how ArmA2 is still looking just like ArmA1

I hope all that bland and empty terrain isn't in the final version.

OFP2's landscape is the real deal.

ArmA2 due this fall.
OFP2 due "when ever"  in 2009.

ArmA2 is -reported- to have vastly improved the way the AI work, and it has been stated that the game will not even run/install if the client does not have at minimum of a dual core CPU.

Both seem like products I could get behind.

Yea, definitely. ArmA is good as is, if ArmA2 is an improvement then ok.

OFP2 looks like it could be one of the best games ever, but marketing is made for deception. I hope it is as customizable as OFP was. Or else the game will die within a year. In the end nobody is impressed by graphics.

Interview and more OFP2 footage.
Product release moved from 2009 "when ever" to spring of 2009.
All game machine platforms -and- PC released on same day.
To myself I see  the main reason for delay and missing out on the "big money" Xmas sales, makeing all the different game cartridges.
Pumping out disks at a stamper or dirrect PC downloads is always cost efficent.

ArmA2 is going to boost the AI to the point that the game will NOT BOOT unless you have at least a Dual Core CPU (so was claimed/infered).

OFP2's new AI system is also "bad ass":

That is the LINK issue I was talking about in CC.
INTERNAL links show in posts.
EXTERNAL links just stopped showing up...unless you goto EDIT and place the word LINK in front (but then it shows as a Google address).

Must be an issue with the word filter. Which address did you try to type in?

OK problem found.
Eh...it was all my own fault. I was tierd and did not notice that when I went to YouTube from a site that the Youtube URL added "= the othe sites address".
Yes the other part of the link IS in the word filter.

Anyhow the links in this post are in order for the posts above.
