Jobs at TKC
« on: June 04, 2008, 05:53:44 pm »
We have a few projects coming up this year and we're looking for a person who can handle public relations. That is, handling press-releases and talking to journalists.

  • You have to be at least 18 years.
  • You speak english well, other languages are a bonus.
  • Preferably you have at least one year experience from the community here.
  • Developers, Moderators and CC-members will be prioritized.

As we are a non-profit organization with costs that exceed income, we offer no payment. But it will be a good experience and look good on a CV.
You will get an email-address press@tkc-community.net where you will have to use your real name in correspondence with the press.

I speak English well.

Also, depending on what your planning I'm also here in hollywood for the TKC full feature movie that I'm going to star in one day.
Enjoy your creative game-play, whatever that may include.

Not bad with the languages, however, this project is put on hold for a while. At least a few weeks more as it looks right now.

In a few weeks i'll probably jump on teamspeak- Moving to Kingston NY to stay at a friends house while i look for work. he's got a nice quad core CPU so i might be able to start posting some MMO glitches again :) although the old MMO section needs to be cleaned up most of those exploits are of no use.
Times are tough, i am still on a waiting list for the N.Y.S DOCS- Gov. Paterson just laid off 8,000+ state employees so i am not looking to good. Most jobs around here are not doing so well but the rent stays the same. I am paying $650 a month plus utilities for just a bedroom.
So kingston it is! Not to mention there is a nice MMA place to train up there http://www.blackandbluemma.com/

Other than that it's been the same old grind- Staying in shape, paying rent, and of course the sweet river of whiskey!! I am itching to start building a PC so hopefully i'll find some decent work.

Heres a funny pic from a Staff party at the bar i use to work at- Can you tell i am shit faced drunk in the backround. Thats my boss Robie on the left and the guy with the long beard is my other boss Mac, the Asian lady is nancy the old Saki bar waitress. we were all pretty fucked up that night. 2/13/09

Looks like party people to me.
Good to know your keeping up with the Jujitsu workouts.

Yeah whenever you have time just let me know and we will see about a TS account for you.
Today we went on-line to play poker and I am up over 18K on the 1K buy in....I should cash out 17K.

Oh,looks like Mac's beard is 3 1/2-3 3/4 years old...ask him and tell me how close I was.

Wow that was close- he's been growing it for 4 years! That guy is a trip 100% Biker crazy!
Doesn't have a drop of fear in his body, which was always fun when we got into scraps with other people. The guy on the left is a tough SOB. Former SGT in the U.S Marines- served 6 years- spent 2  in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring freedom and was an amature boxer. I've seen him put the fear of the almighty in grown ass men. Good times- gonna miss them.

We have been covered a couple of times here and there, but there is currently no need for extra people at the moment. This can change during the coming summer with the championship though.
