Manual Patcher?
« on: April 25, 2008, 11:25:50 am »
Is there a program I can find that auto patches a game that I have. E.g I just point it to the location of the exe then it makes it into a NO CD exe? Because I've got a game that needs a patch for a new version and I've patched the game to the new version but when I replace with my old crack it reverts back to the old patch.
Being Australian is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, and then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV.

You could compare two exes with pengin from the Dl section but comparing two patches could be meaningless.

I would probably compare the original old version to the cracked old version. Then you get the byte sequence that's changed. In the new version just search for that sequence and replace it with the crack-bytes.
Heckling is an art, and game hacking a science.

Sounds a bit primitive but I guess it's the best shot I've got. I'll give it a try ;)

You want a program that -makes- no-cd patchs...is the the question?

I can't recall the name of the program (it's latest update/crack was out a few weeks ago)...but you just install the game and it tells it the disk is in the drive.

Find out what it is called and I will see about finding a copy.

Sounds like my type of program. I'll be very happy to find that out. It sounds like a Ghost Emulator or something... That's what I'd call it.
