it was good, i unno if a .50 cal would put a hole in your chest the size of a cocoanut, to where you can look directly through the body cavity without any obstruction, but it was good.
It would rip you apart.
The shock wave traveling with the round is what "pulls" the bits away.
In fact it does not -need- to hit you to kill you just pass close.
Mounted on a test stand with the barrel lvl to the earth and a target -one mile- away a M2 fires a shot that only drops 1"....and thats a heavy bullet.
In a non-sporting rifle the .50 Browning round for M2 MG uses a dual stage powder.
A dual stage powder is two types mixed together,the first is set off by the primer and is used to set off the 2nd part mixed with it...which has Nitro mixed with it.
Think of the powder charge as basicly being dynamite.
