You keep calling a Right a "need".
That is why like most overseas you fail to understand.
You probibaly think the streets are like a sceen from an old Western Cowboy movie or Scarface and it is nothing like that.

Unlike all the other countries in EU we have never been invaded, and never will be,simply becuase people have a Right to Arms.

Most obviously im not ignorant enough to think the US is like anything in film...
I dont need a weapon to feel safe, if I was living in a country where it was otherwise, Id leave straight away, because my life is worth far more then to be based upon having a firearm or not.

I understand your point, but not ALL EU countries have been invaded, Hitler couldn't even cross the North Sea to invade England, let alone crossing the Atlantic to visit the States!

It's a ridicolous statement to claim that your country will never be invaded due to the right to having arms, and i am still with my first opinion, its totally retarted to having the need to have guns.

Well if your only talking about Hitler, one reason he did not land troups in England was that the People of the US sent privet arms over so that they had something to fight back with.

In France the US built, shipped and airdroped 1,000's of PF-45's (.45 Liberator zipguns) for a delivered cost of $2.40 each.
The factory that made them could construct one every 6-7 secs yet it took an average of 10 secs to load one.

Google both.

Only in America. Another reason why American's shouldn't have guns to start with. I do admit though I do sleep easier knowing that if Australia was invaded that America would give us support as soon as they could.

Where in Australia do you reside Jahovus?
The safest state from a sea assault, Victoria. People only attack the northern and eastern states, not the southern-most. I'm close enough to the coast to not worry about an air assault but yet not close enough to worry about the highly unlikely event of a coastal attack :D
Being Australian is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, and then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV.

The British called - They want their guns back!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTq2NEUlhDE

After 20 years of being disarmed, over 300,000 guns are in the hands of law breakers and those who protect themself from home break in often go to jail or are sued if they harm those doing the crime.

I used to collect firearms.
All I have now is a Remington pump with alternating Rottweiler dear slugs and 3" mugnum buckshot,my Ruger revovler and the Remington Gamemaster pump 30-06 I got when I was 10.
I keep the 30-06 in the trunk of my car with 160 rounds of magnum loaded AP ammo in case of invasion or emergancy along with sleeping bags, water and food for two weeks for four people....and a first aid kit.

Yeah.
The county I now live in in California (moved from L.A. last year) has 9 out of 10 people with concealed carry firearm permits according to the Sherifs department.
We have had only one arrest for murder from back in 1992 and that has yet to become a conviction.
Most of the "crime" here is public intoxication.
It's a really nice safe place...the mobsters/gangs/bad people want to keep away because good people with ARMS won't put up with that kind of crap.
More ARMS does = less crime proven yet again.

Last summer for the first time in over 232 years the U.S.S.C. heard a case on what the 2nd Admendment really said and ment...and if Washington,D.C. (the crime capitol of the USA) could ban people fromm owning arms.
They correctly judged it was a Right of the People and not that of a State.

Fast forward to this year and week:
April 20th,2009...US 9th Circut Court upholds the fact that States also have to abide the Right of the People to own and bare arms as per the 14th Amedment

Audio file:

PDF from 9th Circut Court:

Q: So what are your views?

Here is another old guy...

Shopkeeper ?didn?t want to shoot? robbers
2 suspects dead, 2 injured after 72-year-old opens fire in New York City

Quote
Police said Augusto didn't have a required permit for the weapon used in the headline-grabbing shooting the Daily News called a "Pump-Action Ending."
In NYC the local government seems to have never heard that people have a Right to arms thus robbers and police are the ones armed and the high crime rate.
As for a "permit" it is called the 2nd amendment and the People don't need to pay for any Right.
