TKC Shop Open!
« on: January 12, 2008, 02:46:20 am »
The first steps to the new main page have been taken.

Today we open up the shop we promised a while ago. You can buy all kinds of crazy things. We have official member and staff T-Shirts, pins, mugs, caps, keychains and even a bear that might come in handy.

Unfortunately we only get some % in provision but it will hopefully help cover our costs a bit.

I remember it was talked about a while ago, though we were non-profit, it's good to get some revenue from those hard hours. May I ask what the money is going to be put aside for? Did you still intend on using it for server payments? Either way, it would be cool if I had a keychain. Oh and it's good to see you have the womens staff clothes, now MrM doesn't have to buy the wrong clothes again. Bwah, jking.

Not me I drive cars I pick up from the police impound!

What is that 19.99 shirt in USD's...$40?
The page had no converter and I don't know what symbol it is anyhow.

What currency are you trying to convert it to?

One only has to type in google. 1 EUR in USD:
1 Euro = 1.4708 U.S. dollars

Last year it would've been like 1.1. So prices have went up so to speak.

We're non profit, which means nobody makes profit out of this page. But non-profit orgs can collect money or gain them. The thing is that the money goes back to the organization in that case. So it will cover costs and if there's a surplus fund expansion. We're on minus. So all money wil cover costs.

On that note, is there any webpage that keeps records of currency increases/decreases?

I just discovered that .net doesn't ship to the US. I'll create a .com for American customers as well. If we have one EU and one US shop shipping costs will be cheaper. It might get cheaper if you buy from the US even.

It will be up in two days.
