I was discussing this with my mate after I put forward getting FIFA 08 (which is very good by the way). He said it looked pretty good but after experiencing Rugby 06 i'm not willing to take the step of really getting it. I might if I see something more persuasive but atm it looks like a waste of bandwidth.
Being Australian is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, and then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV.

tried the 2004 version on PS2 , wasn t bad at all but after few games , it was getiing too easy to beat the AI.
This version looks much more complete ,only the price (45E) stops me at the moment

If the AI hasn't improved over the 06 version I would advise against it. My second game after I got it I had beaten New Zealand on 3/5 difficulty with France 7 - 239...

yes , he always give 100% , that s why he never plays more than 1 half.
It's always a good show when he's on the field.

I'd assume so but don't take my word for it. From PS2 I think it's worth the buy but that's just my opinion. They have improved AI tactics and a lot of aspects have improved (don't forget I played '06 on PC and '08 on PS2 so the versions may be the say as each other if they were on the same platform). The User tactics are a lot better. France is ranked 92 whereas Australia ranked 90 and NZ 94 I think. They have patched up the loopholes that allow you to score easy and the only way you can score is really the way you watch it. Conversions and Penalty kicks are a lot harder as the power up bar moves a HEAP quicker as well as when it comes back for accuracy.

I'd rate '06 on PC as 5/10 and '08 on PS2 8/10 (overall).
