The short answere is yes.

The information on how it is done was put on the game disk by BI...that's how the game knows how to convert it...and by reversing the process how you take an ID and turn it into a valid key!

Online, yes. I've not checked with offline.

Keys are Blacklisted online and offline only if you make via "armedass.master.gamespy.com" (internet), you can launch a LAN and play thru HAMACHI but its not too fast as internet servers.

About fakes CD-Keys....
Digit size of ID has nothing to do with if key is valid or not. I tested with 8 digit (razor) much lower number than this one (original key) and I still get "Invalid CD-KEY":

ID: 18118919 (DISABLED key)
S6C8-92G1N-28G7D-BKB47-DWJG8

So if you want to get original key you should compare fake ones with original ones you will found surprises...  :icon_thumbsup

So your only grabing 1 out of 50...clearly you had been hitting the Vodka for awhile after work when you tryed that.
Your normal "I just showed up to work" is 100% after the first 10 minutes or so.

Fix the TS so I can have a few drinks and BS while we rape some server.
If you lived across the road I would walk over and give you some RAM sticks to get it back online.

Set up a server and LOG all the hash #'s and save them to a list...change them at will along with your ID # via memory.

Nvm.. got it.

Log the hash #s?. You mean the userids?. Thats all i get when i host a server. I dont get proper key hashs.

.. do some RESEARCH on md5 reversal then you will have all the keys you want for any game all you must ..... nm research it.

tip : everything you need is on your pc in the arma folder ;)

I got some md5 hashes obtained by a sniffer.
Question about md5 reversal though.
Did some research and found out that hashes beyond 7 or 8 are not possible to reverse with brute force.
So ???????

Edit: sorry found a site where it takes a few days, sorry for the all too fast post.

Right.
Whenever anyone attempts to do the extreamly difficult,or assumed inpossible (man can't fly because he has no wings!)...remember what I have said many times as a young man when asked how long such a task would take for me to finnish:
"Some things take awhile...somethings take longer."

The md5 reversal sites doesn't seem to work  :icon_sad2

Sorry for bothering you but I am quite new to this.
Can you maybe point me in the right direction?

I am trying to do something funny with the admins of an arma server

You're trying to change the ID?

You're trying to change the ID?

Don't know if I should tell this but I am going to do it anyway.

I already tested setting up my own server and sniffing the gamespy packages.

The whole idea would be this:

Got a mate who can take down a server.
I set up server with same name and same map name(not the real map but just some trashy thing I made and that doesn't take much computing power)
Admin joins (if he is stupid enough to join by name, not IP).
And U can guess the rest I suppose.

Just a method of not getting banned ;)

(If such comments are not allowed here let me know and I will remove it)

It's ok. We'll continue that discussion somewhere else.

Reminds me of the old days playing VC and a certain persons super-server makeing a film.
