When I was recording a TK Tournament contribution with my forum nick I ran into some anonymous real time editor user that locked me once I joined etc. The SCP will include some counter-measures for this.

Now you got to releae scp. It's already others that can freeze you. Was on Roughneck's and teamkilled around 50 players and became frozen 3 times in a row when I tried join the server again. Sitting here helpless without the scp and i'm very frustrated. Actually it feels like i've been totally owned  :icon_laugh

By the way check this out, seems to be scp. They are ahead of you?

Well they seem desperate. People with custom consoles crash/lock out suspects from the game. It looks like multiple users got it and/or that it gets updated frequently. The SCP includes some counter-measures against this kind of things.

If anyone has got this tool they use or additional information feel free to PM me. Items of special interest:

Source.
Crash Method.
Spread.
Author.
Implementation.

Valuable information will be rewarded.

We don't want to be forced to include mass-crashers in the scp just because a few guys anonymously crash out other people they think are shady.

The SCP is supposed to be released today. It's likely but not 100%. This week guaranteed though.

The setup and installation engine is in programming and will be published as functional TKC SCP within the next few days.

Some server admin/clan people are just using the keyboard locking from the OFP CP converted to ArmA.
Admins and "leaders" who themselves hack those who they decide are too good to be honest.

I had it happen to me when ArmA first came out.
I was laying on a hilltop overlooking an enemy AI rally point with a silenced rifle and had too high of a score and no deaths for "somebody" and they locked my keyboard.

Well whats the ETA of the SCP?
The "cheats" in it have been tested for months already.
The delay is a secure installer to bypass server scripting detection.

In the past week-10 days the installer has almost constantly been revised and although probably any revision would have been fine,TKC just hates to have to give out "patches" and thinks that a program should be 100% when given to the public.

Companies that sell you software should pay as close attention to products as our developers do.
In fact they would be wise to employ them and our management team.

Come to think about it some of our developers have worked on game production and got upset that their former coworkers never listened to them about bad coding.

That's correct, the focus this time is also that users can correct errors and improve the SCP over time as it will be open source. That way we'll have time for other projects as well. The SCP has involved a huge part of the workforce.
