I vote ArmAAC for the most useless anticheat solution ever  :icon_laugh
Seriously, and they really think it helps but the only thing it does is taking bandwidth off the server and players.

It takes even more bandwidth when admins add the ArmAAC script and repack the map with the same name.

Example:
The Evo map is a 1MB download per player

You join a server without AmAAC
All the players DL the map EvolutionV3.0.Sara.pbo

later on you join another server with ArmAAC
the players have to redownload EvolutionV3.0.Sara.pbo because it's a modified version

later on you join a server without ArmAAC
all players have to redownload EvolutionV3.0.Sara.pbo once again because it's modified

And the crappy cycle continues.

Thanks man... It was fun doing it.

Same here. It's said to disable keyboard, teleport you far away and crashes your game after a certain amount of time.
Never seen it happen & never heard of it happening to anyone.

Don't get me wrong, I have read the code and it looks like it'd work against a basic weapon mod.

They take us for primitive leechers not dedicated cheaters.
Being Australian is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, and then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV.

Lol my attitude is let them think that!
It gives us big time bragging rights over them later.

I remember when VC had a Hardba update and so many of them anticheaters where on here saying "haha you cant cheat anymore because there is no way of bypassing this version"
I don't even have to tell you what happened next  :icon_laugh

Just like the guy who made this AntiCheat, he said to me "Please tell me: how do you plan to "break" a server side script that checks the strength of your weapons from the very first shot and then isolates you from gameplay without weapons?"

He who laughs last, laughs hardest :smile

*While we crash and burn, small, low tech, agrarian societies such as the Hmong in the mountains of Laos will continue on without so much as blinking an eye.*

Lol, read MadDogX's thought on cheaters:

"It would be hard to pass a law against something like cheating. It's a nice thought, but we won't be seeing anything like that because there are no grounds for it. And even if there was a law against it, those who cheat now wouldn't care anyway. Sharing copyrighted material on the internet is illegal and loads of people still do it.

The problem is the whole anonymity of the internet. People can act however they want without real repercussions, so everyone basically shows his true face. People who act disruptive in online games are doing it because they need to do it, not just because they want to. It's not really about "creating a new way of gaming" for them, like most antisocial communities claim - that's just the fassade. They are doing it because they either need other people to think they are extraordinarily skilled (competitive cheating) or because they want to destroy other people's fun in the game (disruptive cheating). In both cases it's a psychological disorder. The latter is the real problem for us right now because disruptive cheaters cannot be reasoned with. The more you get angry with them, the more fun they have. Most people find that hard to understand - and I don't blame them, because it's hard to imagine the mindset of someone who has such serious mental problems.

They're like the kids who kick down sand castles on the beach after other kids have spent hours building them up. No, scratch that - they most likely are the kids who kicked down sand castles. There's the same logic behind it: destroy what other people enjoy and make them angry."

Funny, I must admit. He apparently stereotypes the cheaters/ragers.

I could say something now but I think we should stay on topic.

(TKC's main reason of exisistance/target is not to destroy games of others, its just to make them funnier and more relieable since the most games of today are just not as good as they could be.)
