VC 1 and Vista

Hi,
is VC1 compatible with Vista. I could?nt join any server  :( . Do have anybody same experience?

It ran the game....must be compatable.
It will give you lower fps though.

Maybe its soemthing with the new DX10.

maybe all the servers suspect you are a Teamkiller...Firewall maybe...I heard Vista was retarded with security...lets get a product before they fix all the bugs

Have you tried running the game under XP sp2 compatibility mode?
I doubt it'll fix the problem but it's worth a try.

Code 149 = Direct3D altering ( detects both VcHook and 3D Analyzer )
Might indeed have something to do with the new DX10 or the way it is handled in vista. Another reason for me not to touch bill's new toy...

Its part of microsofts plan, there trying to implement a stragety that wont allow us to play any games. im onto you.

If it aint runnin with both OS then i suggest to check your installation.

Noo, he is talking about the "XP compatibility mode" which is an option in Vista.
It tries to mimic a Windows XP type environment to the selected program when it's enabled.

Even when it works Vista will give you higher load times and lower frames per sec.
