Sound Hack 1.60
« on: January 24, 2007, 12:33:39 am »
Yow i know there was a cheat called "wolf ears" but it is blocked by hbrata so no way that gonna work, is it posseble that there is a sound hack for vietcong 1.60 that is undetected;).... snake created a hack that is called: "vctoolz"--> no noise, but that only take away foodsteps.........
So this wolf ears hack for 1.60 should be posseble... but how??

A soundhack that almost works like a wallhack, that you can hear all ppl walk no annoying background sound like nva base have, maybe included no foodsteps??, a trainer??, a edited .CBF file??.

I don't know...think with me....

ThanX!!

Rens

sry to reply an old topic.
if you have time and know how to use the oggenc.
unpack your cbf (if i remember the snd one)
find all the ogg files with the sounds you don t want and replace them by blank ogg files with the same name.
and repack.

for the blank ogg file , just record a blank wave file with wave lab for exemple and convert it to ogg with the oggenc (you can download it on vietcong customs, sgc base , pterodon site , vietcong coop site etc etc..). look at the exemples , you can also edit the .txt if you want to change the music , ingame voices etc in a map

edit : you maybe can find a tutorial topic on pimpcong site if it didn t got erased

had a look at the ogg conversion exemple pack.
the txt isn t in it , you have to unpack the game to find it.
you don t need it anyways in your case , if you re just changing oggs and renaming them it will be enough.
