Ok im trying to get explosions to work even if its for server side only. I have a cbf ready with the m79 if you want to help me.
 Atm i have sussed out whatcomes with each new gun and how there added, so i imitated it and put the m79 in, but noticed other files that needed to be modded also...so now there done.
 i noticed that the new weapons also come with folders like these...

I think these are what may hold the key to explosions, im not sure but hoping. Im trying to make one for the m79 becos the explosions work in single player and the demo (i think in the demo...never played it) ltc u have demo right did it work in that?

From what im seeing the ammo may be wrong, i remember if u use the wrong ammo with the m16 say use the ak47 ammo it dosent leave a mark of where it hits....

I have it working in singleplayer again, in quick fight and missions, what is the difference between multi and bloody single player, wheres it detecting when to add collisions ?

why cant you replacethe m79 ammo with the ak47 ammo?

or put the name m79 up when you kill some one

As of right now it kills, (modded by cross to the knife) but i want explosions.

Yeah we have it saying m79 and people without the patch also see it and its kills. But no bloody explosions, dunno bout the grenade idea.

If the grenade works as ammo then the class has to be changed as well. Soldier to engineer otherwise if you use more then 4 nades they simply will not explode. Unless we fix that as well (count 0-3 and backwards).

I was looking through the game.dll and saw `m_magazine i thought hmm ill change it in the game.dll and in the weap txt and what do you know it works. 200 bullets 7 clips for m16, i went and tested in my own server worked fine but kick for #5 in public servers so i thought why not try take it out of the game.dll and just leave it as magazine... did this and it leaves me with 4000 bullets in 1 clip, but also detected... need more help.

 But this method makes me think theres alot of other stuff we can also try this method with.

 Oh and i still aint found explosions yet ill try with normal grenades now.

Fireing a nade did not work for other people...they fired but did not blow up.
I think they forgot that the pin needs to be pulled to arm them.

If they had dammage on impact they become nade-bullets.

Is it only the server or is the distance of the nade also client side?
The flightpath of the nade is tied into were the bomb goes off and,along with this, path/gravity/time as well as the force to thow.....so....is this stuff ONLY server side?

Dunno im still stuck trying to make it explode on its own ive modded everything just about, put it in new weapons give it all the right id's put the m79 files back into the weapons folder. It works and explodes in singleplayer just trying to find out what else links to it. Oh has anyone got a copy of the original demo? Cos it worked in that right? I will need the weap txt from that i reckon.

isent it possible to copy the game dll and logs dll from the 1.01 ;)
if that doesent work...

maby if we get a list with files that have somthing to do with the ammo
then compare it with older files from 1.01 and see what the big diffrense is
then maby we can swap some things and get it working
