The 20kb .torrent files are not illegal

but when you open it with a bittorrent program
and start downloading yes it is illegal if the content is copyrighted.

I use Peerguardian in a bid to block anti P2P companys from contacting my PC

There is no full protection
best thing I can suggest is DL a torrent program that has an IP filter
uTorrent has one
Code: [Select]

I block all the companys, government offices, known content spy address AND all uni-schools (they have big pipes and rent out for government projects)....then to top it off I only use prvt trackers.

Oh,did I also mention that all the torrents I work are home vacation avi's?

Looks like PB was shutdown due to the threat of economic sanctions from the US govt.

The economic fallout from closeing down the whole server company is vast.
Not only does the action look unlawful,it has cuased an economic setback to unrelated persons/companys that will take 2 or more years to recover.

Election day today. Might be interesting to see what the Pirate Party gets in %. I doubt they will get any seats in parliament though. I won't vote for them this year (there are some other important issues around).

Shitty results, but the pirateparty got 0.63% of the votes. They need 4% to get seats in the parliament.

Dont mean to dig old posts but I have noticed TPB has deleted all full ARMA torrents.

At the same time quote at the bottom of their legal section

very strange
