Bayonet question

I'm working to get a bayonet on every weapon. The knives, radiomap and Makarov are already working. I use the same method on the USM and I can stab the walls etc but not the players. Here's my code:

Make a nade bayonett....now that would be cool!

Can you use non-weapon items?
Chair,table,tree,jeep?

PS: Frax just asked about CHICKEN,DUCK,BUTTERFLY,COW bayonetts.
Now THAT would be really funny!!

How about sounds when the guns fire that those close can hear? Chick-duck guns?

I like (as you know) to tease people in the game rather than kill them outright....like door knocking on a rock-tree next to them to make them search for me. The animal sounds would be a riot!

Got these 100% working now:

- Knife bayonet
- Map bayonet
- Makarov bayonet
- Ammobag
- Medkit
- Grenade bayonet  :!:  (here you go Z  :wink: )

but back to topic, uh... any suggestions?

Ive also tried this with some error, some guns allow u to bayonet only one time, some will not kill (server based) try it on singleplayer to see if it kills if so its server based.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. Well, I'll add them anyway and put a server up so I can use the bayonet on my M60  :wink:

Well, I haved figured it out yet but there are some more items that we maybe can use (like money, flag etc)

If you change the item to a weapon

example  `w_hud 0 = item `w_hud 1 = weapon

maybe it will work

Haha i have found something evil.
Make the booby trap bayonet and kill ur own team.
I will see normal white kills, so no TK kicks.
This coud be very good when u wanna TK without getting noticed ;  )

Whoeps, i prolly was on an non TK kick server when i ''tested'' it...
Nevermind guys.
Maybe if u make it shoot normal it wont kick, same as for claymore
Its still fun tho :P
U dont see the red tk line if u kill someone of ur own team with it.
But u do get kicked :P

I DID IT!
I MADE THE BAYONET SHOOT AUTOMATICLY AND THE SPREAD IS LIKE ALL AROUND ME.
LOL AT MY M16 ATM, SOON ALL MY WEAPONS.

For the bayo i found that work at all weapon only when the primary weapon can have by original the bayo, when not, than it dont work.

the grenade bayonet is easy to do. if you want it zoldude find the topic "shooting items" that i started and look near the end  :icon_biggrin2
