So this is only a DESKTOP section of total OS?

Many full OS's are about that do not have the programmings "flaws" of Windows.....when they can support prorams/games that windows does then perhaps they will all share more of a % of market place/usage.

Zeta OS is good for most non-game uses and is not known to have any of the Microsoft OS explots/issues nor needed an update/patch thus far (vrs 1.0)...unlike Lynix with Win OS compatability installed.

Oh...it also starts with a "Z".

Wasn't the google OS just a Linux thing with a free-source edited by  google?

Not sure though..  :(

Fasinating reads Wesker...I'm really looking forward to a google OS (as just about everyone else) and I'm really looking forward to the day when people say "Microsoft? what's that?".

lol zeta doesnt even have as much drivers as r available for linux.
and the point of view of "supporting" a game: every os could support a decent game it if enough ppl would use that os it and if its rentabel for big game software development companys.

That wouldn't be nessisary if only we could put my master plan into work to get the people who made ZSNES to make ZWINXP emulation software. It'd be great, you could have all the functions of windows, but use save states in cases of crashes and BSOD. Make recordings of all the things you can do better in winxp when it isn't actually run by windows; use cheats to get you stabilitly and features that aren't otherwise availble or have to pay extra money for; or best of all...hit the big 'X' in the upper right hand corner to shut it down once you've had enough of it.

now, wouldn't that be gwreat?

You could also use Vmware Workstation 5.5 to create a virtual PC. Vmware is available for windows & linux and as far as I know, you can install every OS on the virtual PC, even a 64bit guest OS on a 32bit host OS.
