Does anyone knows a good, simple and free mailserver?
Right now I'm trying to set up the ArgoSoft Mail Server but maybe there is another one.

So If you know any good, just let me know.

w2k.

But I might change it to Windows 2k3 server and put Exchange on it, that good you think?
And do I still need a mail-server then?

If it isn't your main comp I suggest you to install linux on it. I don't think you can upgrade w2k to w2k3. w2k3 is "rewritten".

Would exchange still run on it then?
Cause I'd like to use that, as its simple and the mail isn't just for me but for hole the family.

We bought the family domain.

why do u want to host a mailserver on ur pc at home?
why dont u just buy some webspace connect the domain to it and their u can easily manage users, mailboxes and stuff.
plus u save money (energy), u got a much higher uptime garantee and its much more easy to configure if u do even consider to upgrade to windows 2003 (what the heck?) and what do u want with a fucking microsoft exchangeserver, that software is for companys and it doesnt really fit for ur needs.
