# Welcome to the 6th Sense ArmA Language Patcher v0.3 by SickboyThis patch transforms the Czech version of Armed Assault (*) into English.More info in the BIS Forums Thread:http(Please do not e-mail/pm me for support, but use the thread for assistance)Translation and Spellchecking Credits:# Alx# Head2000# Tom KQT# My_ShortcomingBIG Thanks to those that were involved! Remember, give credit where credit is deserved!Version History:v0.3 - Also Patches the ArmA Editor SP/MP Templates and Multiplayer MissionsFixes:- Bug in the manual tutorial patch.- Bug that only caused some patch info not to show up in some bat files- Bug in the readme, links.htm and .bat files (BIS Forum Thread link)v0.2 - Also Patches the ArmA SP Briefings & Missions from Czech into Englishv0.1 - Initial version; Included the automatic patching of ArmA Czech into EnglishBefore you begin:# Please make sure you've read the disclaimer!# Please make sure ArmA is not running (Game Closed) when you are applying the patches# The patcher backups the files as {originalfilename}.bak, but.. as always... make backups yourself aswell!# The patch of coarse only works if you still have the original bin.pbo, language.pbo, campaign and mission pbos ..If you edited them or replaced them by others, get the originals from your dvd and overwrite the ones in your installation folder, then run the patcher(s). Some files are packed with Gzip (.gz), you can use WinRAR to unpack them (www.ra....oft.com). If it is too problematic, just reinstall your game # In certain configurations, Windows will hide the file extensions, this could result in Windows Explorer not displaying .bat behind the mentioned filenames, don't mind it.There are 2 methods for patching, depending on where you installed ArmA:1. If you've installed your game into the default installation folder:C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmAYou can just run the patch_defaultinstallfolder.bat resided in this release's @6thSense\tools folder. Follow instructions on screen2. If you've unpacked this package into your ArmA folder:You can just run the patch.bat resided in this release's @6thSense\tools folder. Follow instructions on screenIf you wish to manually patch individual files, from the ArmA folder run the following files:# AddOns\patch-language.bat# dta\patch-bin.bat# Campaigns\patch-ca.bat# missions\patch-missions.bat# missions\tutorial\patch-tutorial.bat# mpmissions\patch-mpmissions.bat# templates\patch-templates.bat# mptemplates\patch-mptemplates.batFollow instructions on screenIf you didn't install the game in the default installation folderAND didn't unpack this release into your ArmA folder:Unpack the release again, but now into your ArmA folder, and follow method 2 from this readme. After sucessfull installation you can delete the .bat files and even the whole release folder as you wish.We are very sorry for the (minor) complexity of the installation, but we, as we are only fans just like you, wish to be on the safe side concerning Copyrights etc., nor want to piss off anyone, that's why we choose this road!
