Removing the vegetation
« on: September 27, 2005, 03:47:41 pm »
Hi there! Just wondering, I've been looking around for a way to remove the vegetation and other 'non player' items players can hide in or behind (items that can be shot through and trees as well (make it a barron land)). As yet, I have found nothing, but I'm sure something like this exists. Essentually, players will hide in or behind such items thinking 'I can't be seen here, ha, ha', and its cool to tag em like that; 'Dood, you couldn't have seen me'.

What would one need to remove these? (I'm kinda hoping I wont have to export all the images, and replace them with transparrent ones). Perhaps remove or fade shoot-through items but leave some type of outline so you don't look like an idiot when trying to walk through a wall or tree that can only be shot through.

This might have already been covered, but I havn't found it. Looking specifically for something for Vietcong 1.6X and undetectable with the habra crap (why not continue having fun with the exisiting version, still enough people out there?).

OK, Thanks Z.
So, importing new images that are 'see through able' into the local game would work (since the images are local and used for displaying)? Or is there no possible way to do it, and still join public servers (where one can have allot of fun)?

Why not make your own maps without vegetation ? You can also edit existing maps change them and save them.
Or just use the vchook cheat, it works on 1.6 but not on hradba protected servers....

Well, because I wanted to be able to drop in on any server, and play as 'normal'. Watch how the others play and, essentually, interact with them. But with the advantage that I know where there hiding and can kill them, even when they think there in hiding. We all like our advantages that the trainers etc offer, I was hoping on one that would work without detection from that damn hradba. Some people really really hate us for it, but since VC1 is in its final stages, I'd like to just go out and join others servers using only a vegetation remover that its not detectable, but allows you to blast your counterparts 'Oops, thought that was the enemy in the bush'

What type of computers do you have at home/work? Can you set up a LAN?

The game checks the Hradba the same as Hradba checks the game....bypass the checks and you can do anything you want.

yes anything!!, guys listen, if u delete ur registry of VC2demo u have a half part in ur hands.
see this:

i had editing some body's.....
i get in the game ---> Hradba says: "fuck up" and kicks me
then i had to reinstall my computer. so i reinstall it on my C drive, Vietcong2demo was placed at the D drive.
then i tought: why i dont try again..
and i am happy now, i get in all the Hradba secured servers.

BUT dont think this is the only thing, no listen to ZOldDude, first bypass the game, and then delete ur registry of vietcong 2 demo....

yes i can do it with the demo, sorry for talking in the retail section  8)

What?
Sorry what are you trying to say?
VC2 Hradba is even easyer than VC1 to bypass.

Heres some pics of Veg removed .

Here u can see Bushes but no windows in the little building.

Now all Bushes are removed.

This pic shows Bushes being Transparent, With T@xBot enabled.

So it can be done, And like T@xBot u can get passed HB. Its just a matter of Trial and Error.
