Repacking CBF files
« on: September 09, 2005, 08:30:59 pm »
What you need:
Total commander (http://www.ghisler.com/)
.CBF plugin for total commander( http://www.kingruben.hatemail.nl/vchack/CBF.wcx )
This tutorial.

Ok so you have got yourself all of these, here is what to do.

In total commander go to configuration and click on options. Now click Packer at the left hand side in options. At the bottom you will see a button which sais "Configure packer extention WCXs", click on it and select the cbf.wcx file.

Place the files you want to pack into a new folder (call this folder anything you want). Go to that folder using the left hand side of total commander and right click all of the files you want to pack so that they are red.

Press alt+F5 to bring up the pack menu. You will see at the right hand side of this window a list of files you can pack into. There will be one you can select which sais "->" and is pointing to a drop down menu. Select this one and select cbf in the drop down menu.

Were it sais "Pack X files to archive" (X being the number of files you are packing) type "cbf:{directory}\{filename}" without the "". For example "cbf:c:\_HB_FOLDER.CBF" without the "" would create the file _HB_FOLDER.CBF in my hard drive C.

Another example would be
"cbf:c:\program files\muahaha\_HB_FOLDER.CBF"
Without the "" would create _HB_FOLDER.CBF in c:\program files\muahaha.

Thats all there is to it. If you have any problems please post them in this thread and everyone will try to help. Also feel free to add other things.

I would like to thank Lavaplatozzz and someone else who can't be named.

If you want undetected you need to mod and repack BOTH the game and HradBa dll.

Hmmmmmm.....perhaps a VC2 CHP with installer could be made next week or two. I wonder if the Devs in the OFP section would like to try playing with that idea?

Cheat Pac

Check out some of the game sections other than Vietcong.

Look/read the OFP section and/or read the Main Site page befor comming into the forums.

The guys that program in that section make a new revision of the Cheat Pac about 1 hour after each new anti-cheat program comes out!

First of all, I'd like to thank TheJoker for the TC plugin.

I'm working on a mod too. But as I try to repack the file in a proper CBF, instead of having a cbf file around 500 Mo, I'm getting a cbf bigger than 1.5 Go.

What I made :
1/ Loading TC
2/ Configuration > Options > WCX configuration > Plugins > [CONFIGURE]
I write ".cbf" (without quotes) in the field and in New type : CBF.wcx
3/ In the left part of TC, I go to the folder where I extracted and modified the files from vc2onlinedemo.cbf
I select them all so that folders and files are in red
4/ Pack > I give a name to the future cbf. The command line looks like that :
cbf:z:\vc2.cbf
"Also pack path names (only recursed)" and "Recursively pack subdirectories" are checked.
5/ [OK]

And then... 1.6 Go...
Any clue ?
