cracked Windows anti-crack cracked claim...Didn?t take long

By Nick Farrell: Thursday 28 July 2005, 08:57
MICROSOFT'S bid to refuse access to updated versions of Windows has been foiled by hackers.

The Vole had demanded that those who wanted Windows updates, other than security improvements, had to download an Active X program that sniffed their operating system to see if their OS had been pirated.

It took about 24 hours for hackers to come up with a solution involving IE script, the hackers claim.

How to disable this "feature".

1. Open IE
2. Click on Tools
3. Click on Internet options
4. Click to the Programs tab
5. Click on the Manage Add-ons button.
6. Select Windows Genuine Advantage
7. Click Disable
8. Done, now you can do Windows updates again.

Yes now you are strong armed to d/l the spyware from also checks the keys for any other MS software you have.

I have a copy of the new OS Zeta.
It looks like windows but boots in only 15 secs and has nothing in it to be exploted by virus. Yes it supports NTFS and the OS comes with a boot manger for people that want to have multi OS on the same drive.

Minimal Requirements:

Pentium 200MHz (or Cyrix, Athlon, Via...)
600 MB Hard Disk Space
8 MB Video Memory
bootable CD-ROM Drive
Mouse, Keyboard, 14" Color Monitor

To bad for Billy Gates huh?!
