Yes which leads to the situation you also have to have one not too be scored out.

But i have to answer Mullahs remark to my sig:

The code is no endless loop. It's old rude C-style. (Kernigham-Ritchie)
Instead of copying the memory of null-terminated string from
pointer s to pointer p , written in long form:
while ( *s != '\0' )
  {
   *p = *s;
    p++;
    s++;
   }

you shorten up to
while ( (*p++ = *s++ ) != '\0' );
which is the same as
while ( *p++ = *s++ );
because the whole expression is the one which is compared against zero.
Some companies "rules of how to code" forbid this style. I used to program this way for years.
