Win 95, good times. That was before broadband internet, and when "enthusiasts" came to meet-up in computer clubs. Every wednesday was LAN-gaming night. Red Alert, Quake 2 MP, Starcraft, Carmageddon. We had a couple of rooms with dozens of computers, and a stuffed Atari+Amiga room which had comfy sofas and always felt like 30 degrees C. Before we could enter we had to "log in" on some old unix terminal at the entrance. All computers were named after various dictators, and if the monitors showed wrong colors or flickered, one could always grab it with one hand on the top, and hit it from the side with the other to restore function.
