I know this place hasn't been used for a while but i was wondering if any of you guys knew about building computers? If so i need help... its a problem im haveing with RAM and a mobo..
Im still in the finding components stag and i found this ram:
Corsair (TWINX1024-3200C2PT) 1024MB (2 x 512MB Matched Pair), DDR400 / PC3200, non-ECC, Unbuffered, CL2, Lifetime Warranty, Silver Heat Spreader
Now the modle before that used 2.6v and the mobo:
K8N NEO4 PLATINUM
Says:Supports 2.5v DDR SDRAM DIMM. Ao does this mean i can't use this RAM or what?? Im almost done with the list and i wanna start getting the parts in about 1/2 weeks time.. so any help would be great.
Thanks

MSI motherboard?
Anyhow yes it will work just fine.
A better RAM would be the 3200XL (out of the box @ 400Mhz it is 2.2.2.5) and if you really want to overclock get the NEW 5600UL (at higher timings you can get 1225Mhz out of it!).
As far as the voltage....no problem.
What you really have to think about is which type of video card you want to use AGP or PCI-X befor you buy the motherboard.
I have been putting off building a 64 bit computer for myself as my 3200+ overclocked does about the same thing (so far).
Also if you use a Windows 64 OS you LOOSE an average of 20 fps running 32 bit games as per a test conducted last month!
This would not be a problem if you used 64 bit cpu but a 32 bit OS.....the issue seems to be the DRIVERS for the vidio cards.
By the way I get as much as 319 fps in VC with my system!
