key Exchange
« on: July 25, 2014, 05:14:07 am »
I am thinking about exchanging one of my keys that is only banned from 2 servers for a key that is banned from every server (lol) Except one of these two servers. PM me if you are interested, I need to know I will not be ripped off.

It is auite hilarious Euro

I heard some devs have a revolving key that changes with every login

This would be useless cayse you would lose all of your money every time you ligged but it would be amazing fir dodging bans and mass RDMing people on PW

1) Use a key with no bans.
2) Look for the part of the program that answers back when a server bans you and...
3) Have it report some BS data to the server.

Yes...it is just that simple.

I don't want anyone's money.

The TOOLS and samples of how to use them are in the TKC Public Download section.
You may need a second computer as a Game Host to find the locations and values you need for any particular game.

I don't recall anyone telling me this...it is simply a common sense way of understanding a problem.
Most people over think issues rather than break the task down to the least amount of steps/work.

As for things changing...a better word would be repackaged.
Any way you want to package it up the game must know your ID or IP to ban you...so the steps involved will always remain very few.

An example of "least amount of steps" was how easy it was to set up a "pirate server" when hosting a game that used GameSpy by changing one address...now anyone even with the same "key" could join.
You could also keep people with legit Keys from playing online by letting them join a "poisoned" server that simply never reported back to GameSpy they had disconnected from said server... thus resulting in GS saying "key is already in use".

Now that GameSpy is "dead" I have no problem publicly saying these things...but yes things are just that easy, and easy is the way you want to think of "hard things".

It would be in an interested persons best interests to d/l the many free tools and tutorials of how to use them and learn how they work.

After the early 1980's I just mostly drink beer and smoke Pot and enjoy being a lazy old man...as well as I can manage.

No wonder I feel like hell warmed over this morning.
I have to go into town and help deliver food to the shut-in's for the next 3 days...good thing I am not the driver.
