It's a bit special in ArmA (they made it like that on purpose). But it's been posted in the Arma2 public section. Essentially you need to look for unknown values.
LMFAO, that doesn't help me at all. Mainly because everything seems to be unknown to me.
M.O. Is refering to a scan type. You can search for "known values" or "unknown values".
Memory scanning is just manipulating a list is all. you could do it all on printed out paper if you want (lots of paper), these programs don't do anything magical or mystical, they just make things faster.
here is how to search for an "unknown" value.
-Open and attach cheat engine to process.
-first scan : change value type to "unknown initial value". scan. (this will make a list of every memory address+value)
-next scan : Change weapons and then in cheat engine, change value type to "changed" scan or something, could try to use decreased/increased, but that might be hit and miss.
-repeat over and over, sometimes re-scanning without changing guns and selecting "value has not changed". this will decrease the list very well sometimes.
then you should have the memory address that determines what gun you are holding. Look how it changes when you change weapons? who knows, ive never fked with this game and im just pulling shit out of my arse.
