Armed Assault 2 / so how did the bans work?

when recently the banwave hit. im just wondering how did this work? if current scripters only spawned less weapons in a crate to the ones only found ingame would that help? and/or tweaking a script to be less crazy would help? as in they search scripts ran and they see a crazy amount of weapons spawned and they know its a cheat so they mark that user as a ban? can it be hidden so its not obvious or ANY script ran even a script i could make to have auto run on will get me banned? i just wanna be certain about this cause i do make auto run scripts and many legit scripts to make my gameplay easier but no advantage. how did these bans work? if a scripter was never kicked from BE for anything at all would they still recieve a ban?

THIS DOES NOT WORK FOR OA, USING A FREE KEY DOES NOT WORK. ive tried this it just dosent work plain and simple. maybe for playing arma2free online but not OA online.. if u have a legit key yes u can change it but if u have steam version the key will change back as the key is read only but if u change privliges in regedit so it dosent it will enable FADE anyway cause they key is not the same as the install. to change a key the proper way u have to do a clean install again using the new key on a retail install. if u have steam u are entitled to that key for that copy or else it will enable FADE as it has to me and i was getting 10fps out of nowhere when i usually get 50-60.

OMG IM GONNA BE BANNED FROM AN ALPHA MOD LOL. id like that noob to do this for arma3 and not fuck up. not worth it, rather wait for arma3 if its not gonna be on arma3 its garbage.

i just got my new key up and running, how the hell did i get banned? i was only using weaponcrate playermarkers and healing script. i managed to accidently get banned from one server by hacing cheat engine running whoops! maybe that did it? is it still safe to spawn a lot of weapons in a crate? should i rename scripts to be inconspicuous? should i narrow down my weapon crate spawns to what i only desire at a limited amount? or does none of that matter and its still safe? im jw if its cause of my whoopsie cheat engine mistake and if im all safe to continue on? please any help thanks in advnace and HAPPY MOD APPING :P

tried with method didint work with arma2 free, im on steam version combined operations, got the keychange from mine to arma2 free said kicked off game or back to GLOBAL BAN again, key values in registry seem to keep resetting their values to the default key no matter what eventually. idk how to just change it to a legit key i have on hand but as im sayin it wont permanently change it will always change back to my default banned guid

i understand EVERYTHING on here i just dont know how to convert arma2free key to hex format, everything is in the first post but i cant just copy paste the arma2free key in that format slap into cheat engine or any hex format WITHOUT the key being changed to hex format that i do not know of how to do so. please help.
