Yeah, I've noticed this happen when I was developing my filters.

If you open up a packet sniffer you'll notice it sending the same signature over and over.

You need to change the classname in the config.cpp, the foldername, and all the exec and execvm calls that have darky in it's path.

player disableinput true would work for ALL missions.

Should work fine.

Although I normally have config.bin as the readable config.cpp instead. (Although you can have both)

It shouldn't stop you fixing the signcheck, as long as your search signature is fine. (Like you start searching the pbo name and replace from there on, as opposed to searching the trailing bits that change at the end)

All you need is a pointer or var referencing the player you want to spoof. Then you just need to do _whateverplayer sideChat "Screw the admin" with do_public.sqf

So basically...


if(name player == "Bill Clinton) {
(_x sidechat "Screw the admin!") forEach playableunits //I probably made a mistake here, arma's scripting language makes C users cry.
}

Then pass that entire statement to do_public

All thanks to the playableunits command that got added in ArmA 2...

Which hew editor are you using ?

I'm not using a hex editor per-say. Ollydbg or IDA Pro usually.

Olly would be easier to use for beginners.

It's a bug in WPE Pro I think. It won't make the packet any larger when filtering it?

Try the advanced mode filtering.

You gotta spoof more than the name. Compare the rest of the packet to the one you are spoofing.

Use them in an addon pbo.

Take a look on the BI wiki if you don't understand how to create one. (Basically just a config.cpp pointing to some of these scripts in a sqf, packed into a pbo.)

I mentioned in the post that it's on the beta exe from a specific beta version. Ie. NOT 1.54!

So...

X:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\Arma 2\Expansion\Beta\arma2oa.exe

After beta 74123 is installed. (I think it was that version, check my other post.)

Edit: I'll show screenshots to show it later if I'm not lazy.

I think this just has the ArmA 2 offset, not the OA one.

But it's just 2 writeprocessmemory calls with the offsets I gave in the other thread if you want it to work on CO.

Get WPE u have a free PBO Bypass.  :icon_laugh

I used it for testing the initial viability of the bypass. Only problem is that the dll is detected by every av under the sun, and I vaguely remember not being able to make the packet larger than it was already.

Plus, theres a better one which has regex partially implemented for the filter. (Not to mention it grabs ssl plaintext too.)

It's sad, I can hook winsock, hide the dll from battleye, but can't get the search and replace to skip nulls.  :icon_thumbsup
