Did you check the obvious things first?

What version do you have and what is the version of the server? Maybe you are connecting to some old server running pre-Resistance or not updated to latest patch?

It might be some kind of strange ban or anticheat as well, but does not quite feel like it :? - it seems to me BISssiess like to show how clever they areand when banning you they always proudly tell you something about Fade sht :x.

Anyone knows how is the Palladium thing related to cheating? I always thought it is some kind of copy protection.  :?:

I think most games make almost all its profit within a few months since it is released. AFAIK, OFP is now sold for a pathetic price like 9 LB, and I do not think it is commerically much interesting any more (esp. compared to the few first month, when they topped most sales ladders).

However you are right that it is only speculation and it is quite possible OFP still sells - unfortunatelly sales figures are not commonly published, with a few exceptions, like when someone wants to brag how much he is selling.  :D

Just tried this, but whenever I applied the poke, and alttabbed back into OFP, it immediatelly CTD. I tried both 1.96 and 1.94, with the same results.

It is true - even in wireframe you cannot see almost anything through some houses (houses, soldiers). I do not know exactly what houses do this, but you can see it easily e.g. in Steal the car SP mission.

It seems it is somehow related to the camera position - even with the very same house you sometimes can see through it and sometimes not.

I tried to google for "3d Analyse", but I did not see any usefull results. I have heard from someone you cannot seem though some walls with this tool, and I wanted to check how this really works, but I did not find the tool.

Anyone has a download link?

Sound iteresting. I am looking forward to see this. I hope my home comp. (GF3, PIII/733MHz) will handle this (rendering twice, I hope this does not mean half framerate, or does it?) I could run in on my office computer, but there is always a chance the boss will come in ... not a pleasant situation, you see?  :evil:

You sure? :?: Even if they do, what can they do more then rip their hair off while reading cheats exists in spite of them thinking foolishly they prevented them for ever?  :? (I do not think anyone can stop cheating - they can only delay it for a while, anyway. There is no lock for which there is no pick  :wink: ).

I would be really surprised if they release any more patches for such an old game - though I have to admit it is still good, I play it a lot, but I cannot see any sense for them to support it any more - the game has barely any sales recently.    :shock:

Hello, I applied for a Dev. section some time ago, but I did not receive any reply, positive or negative. I hope I might be able to contribute, I have a few small ideas about Keg. water effects, but I do not want to post them here in the public, esp. when you say BIS lurks around here.

Very nice water, really. I did not expect I will ever seem such water in OFP (original woater is actually quite lame, I think).

BTW, I smell some cheating potential in the techniques Kegetys uses - do not you?
