Run the game in SYSTEM MEMORY and not in VIDIO CARD if you are getting the wierd and hippy light show.

Since VC is primarily a CPU game... you can imagine how similarly we get to experience Vietcong.
Now, you are very fortunate to be upgrading to such a nice system, and I'm happy for you. (at the same time jealous)
You have been mentioning yourself to be "quite the player" lately.
And, that is using your current AMD 1300, correct?
Why would you claim you're going to pass on this match simply because you're not willing to use the same pc you've been claiming to be kick-a with?

My 1800+ and A7V266 board used a FX5600.
That MB has DIED.... the bios chip I suspect.
I have put off buying thae other baord and CPU/RAM as Cal State Northridge will have an EXPO on Feb 28th and I can get the parts there up to 70% off.
VC/FA is basicly NOT PLAYABLE on my sons 1300+ with ATI 7500.
Hell while I am waiting I should hook up the old A7A AMD 800 with Rage128 and play some Earth Siege 2!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was going to wait untill next fall and get the AMD 64 3400+ when is sells for about $150.....but VC is a game that makes you act crazy with your computer stuff.
Even if I get the A7N8X-E Delux at the expo (my brother got one for $98 last time) I could use my old CPU and ram....we will see on the 28th what happens.
You guys kill each other without me this time as it looks right now.

Yes I used to pick a differant name each day I played (tho I was not cheating) just to avoid the hassles.
Even back in the demo days I could manage a 16/1 ratio each night....and used the name Z_Old_Dude.
Lately I just use the computers default name of "Dad" and last in December with only 3 games played I was # 247 out of 39,000+ players on clanstats.com!

The Cheat Development room is for programmers who can extract/mod/and repack (cbf) the game files. Also any new people in that room must also show the have learned how to fake the HB program altho all HB updates are delt with in another forum at another address (as they have been for months befor HB came out).
We do things this way so that only skilled people now get into the Dev room and HB project has always been at another address due to the spys I found early last year.
Almost every thing you need to know (if you can program) is in the "how to" text files in our download section.
When you can fake HB then I will see to it that you have access to the Dev room.
Submit your programming to the sysop.

I will see what can be done about your password/account.
My MAIN reason for bitching about it is people pretending to be YOU.
My computer has a MB which has become D.O.A. and a new ASUS A7N8X-E Delux with an AMD Barton 3200+ and Corsair Twinxxms 1024-3200LLPRO ram along with a Antec SL450 power supply (I will get another A7V266-E and use the AMD1800+ for my son later).
My FX5600 should then run at full speed an all the now and then burps/pauses should stop (it would be a first for VC).
I may even buy a monitor that supports a refresh rate of 200MHZ (mine ony has 85 yet my sons does 120).
As the place I get my parts from is also going to preform a 72 hour burn-in test befor shipping to me it will be another 10 working days (at most) befor I recieve the parts and then find time to install them and format and burn the two 150 drives and raid them.
I don't think that I myself would be able to make any games this month.
Half of the rest of these guys are overseas.
What maps did you have in mind?
I myself much perfer the forrest maps as I am old and just plain SUCK on the urban maps!
As for GOB...what ever is with you and Taco has nothing to do with me. I tend to get along with everyone without any problems.....even Mr. Ryan does not bother me nor do I bother him.
In the meantime I will TRY to play coop with this AMD1300+ and ATI 7500.
It is interesting becuase FA looks like an old time movie with everything set to min (wont run at any other setting).

Why do you guys DIE so much?
After I played a day online with the new maps I am back into my old ratios.
They will not be as good as Three Canyons (best ration ever for me was 32/1) but I am doing better.
Oh yeh....no FLAGS for me as I do best as a defender.
And no cheating (unless four 40oz of beer is my cheat).

I was on BRIDGE last night (3-4 AM) and made it accros and found a spot to "park" and used the sten in single fire and kept killing the VC as they ran towrds the brige!

I may not be there due to my bad back.
I have mised alot of practice with {BW} for this reason and my sleep is off due to pain.
