Don't be so vain about your minor "achievement". However, it may have given the community a slight morale boost.
I'm not good at lying. So if I ever do lie, I like to exaggerate as much as possible in the hopes that the listener knows I am lying and I don't feel guilty then.

I like that doolittle, a good honest answer. As you tend to exaggerate a bit, ill help you out..

This ->___<- is not six inches. Remember that, especially when your e-peen is aroused with thoughts of "doolittle saved the day, doolittle saved the arma community", granted your one of the only ones who give a shit enough to try to do something about it, so that earns you some credit. But cheaters are the arrogant ones aren't they, not the person claiming to have single handedly "Re-established an entire community". Seriously do any of you haters out there even read your posts before you press the button?

....if TKC's "hacking" was so amature, then why does it piss you off fartface, or are you so easilly pissed off by "amatures"

And as Z says, it's no problem finding games. So your theory of "game destruction" seems to either be wrong or only marginally affecting the amount of players.
Well that's because the Doolittle Anti-Cheat System re-established an entire community that had been displaced by SCP antics. You're welcome.

you are so full of yourself. "I saved the arma community single handed". Have a wank. Thats like blaming a games decline on TKC. So full of shit

either way the IP was match to reading these same forum topics. lurker or not he's the one and he is in for a rude awaking, who ever did it either used his own scripts or kept triggering the LGBs. I've been too busy on the client player data base that will instanly match IDs, IPs, and names form allot of server's netlogs, then I'll switch back to the ACP and search our the packets used to attack the servers.

but wither way wesker I have your IP, just have to match it with your name :)

How do you know it matches an ip to one reading these topics without collecting ip's here?

"yes, but unfortunately for about every ArmA player that connects to our servers is that all the information gathered from (via web or game servers) in any way is simply and legally our property" .... Not when you agree to a disclaimer that states you will not gather information here to use against anybody, so im afraid your mistaken here.

I believe you have all the right to create anti cheat software and ban people, its the nature of the beast. No cheater ive ever known has contested that, as its a part of the game. The problem is when your anti cheat software is compromised it goes back to "hacking my server" and "costing me money". Also, it has to be done right (with 0 TOS violations). Cheaters aren't breaking a TOS, but you might be.

"advance servers like ours record the previous site visited," im pretty sure that would be a violation of the spyware laws in California, heres a little snippet from the law:

"It outlaws the collection, through intentionally deceptive means, of personally identifiable information (PII) through keystroke-logging, tracking Web site visits, or extraction of PII from a user's hard drive"

Did you read that, tracking website visits and collecting PII (personally identifying information), and i hear your based in California aren't you (doesn't matter if you are, if you collect a Californian players ip). Posting images to harvest ip's is "intentionally deceptive", so is logging a persons last visited website, it serves no purpose related to Arma. It also states that you cannot collect someones IP through a piece of software without notifying them. Last time i checked ArmA was a piece of software, and im sure no-one was notified you're collecting IP's with it (or server software)

Id be careful who you upset, especially if your livelihood depends on it. Visiting a cheat website and using cheats isnt illegal, what your doing (especially if you/your business is in Cali) could be. Minimum fine is $1000 per incident, and "incident" can be IP address, i bet you have collected a lot so far. Even if your innocent, the investigation would shut you down for quite a while. You have to excuse me, im on an overly lawful kick at the moment. Just trying to bring things into context, Is boasting about what your doing and, how did Wesker put it, making "cocky & confident posts" really worth risking your business for? Id take a look at my actions if i were you, before you piss someone off enough to make it personal. As i say this might all be BS and me misinterpreting the law, but then again, it might not be

Whatever...he is not using information in violation of copyrite for a commercial project whether or not the claims are correct.

Hey, whatever,  your the site op, so its up to you.  But if the terms you agree to don't apply to everyone whats the point in having them. He is clearly in breach of the TOS (Terms of Service/Disclaimer)  here at the TKC website. By gathering IP's here so he can ban them on his servers is in breach of :

1. I am not visiting this site to steal material (including Information, Snapshots and Source-Codes) to use against the Webmaster, Site Operator or Host or any person in any conceivable manner.

He stated he was gathering IP's  to use. I don't see the grey area here Z, rules are rules. It doesn't state in the TOS that it has to be a breach of copyright, it says in any conceivable manner. If you have a personal relationship with this guy, it shouldn't make him above the rules. As soon as you allow one person to break those rules, you have no ground to stand on when others do it.  At the bottom of the TOS it states "The contract will have the same rights as a legal agreement, a legal act. By abusing the contract you are suspect of a criminal charge.", if you allow one person to break the TOS, this one will never hold up against anyone after the fact.

Its up to you, in my experience, a TOS or a disclaimer is a double edged sword. It states that the disclaimer was created to keep people who wanted to harm TKC away, yet if its not enforced against all users, then it cannot protect the site from anyone who wants to do harm. You cant pick and choose who the rules apply to, or the disclaimer holds no legal power whatsoever.

If this guy was collecting IP addresses to use against their owners, he broke one of the agreements upon entry :

I, under penalties of perjury solemnly declare and affirm the following:

1. I am not visiting this site to steal material (including Information, Snapshots and Source-Codes) to use against the Webmaster, Site Operator or Host or any person in any conceivable manner.

And these anti cheat people were talking about filing lawsuits, they cant even follow simple rules. By his own admission:

( namely "i'll gather all the data and PM it to you Z

and wesker you should check every post from allot accounts, you should know better that I'll never pass up on you're sloppyness
you should see the list of alias I have tide to your IPs
Like I said servers will dissapeare for allot of you as allot of you have crossed the line which means I now lock down allot of servers") he has broken TKC rules, shouldnt he be dealt with accordingly?

As XX55XX said, do you really think that BIS or any other game company cares about the player? once they have sold their game, they dont care what happens as long as the cash rolls in. I thought Wesker's response was pretty good actually, so if a sane response is "dense" to you doolittle, that says more about you than him.

Because people like you are too busy bashing us and seeing what you want to see, rather than whats actually there.

Okay, I'll call your bluff. What do you see actually being there? How are you defining your actions in your mind?

Call my bluff? no bluff there at all. It was a simple statement. You (meaning all judgmental people who bash the people here) have decided we are the scum of the earth,  no matter what we say its wrong.  One of Z's posts, he said he owns some cheat free servers and he admins them correctly. What did he get? "what gives you the right to own a cheat free server".  Case and point.

i'd vote NO aswell to releasing the ability to RE sig's to the general public

I reckon that it would just be to potent for public hands and would be detrimental to the game as a whole probably ending with general mayhem, no servers and no players

Why do you care about the public? I've never seen this side of you.

Because people like you are too busy bashing us and seeing what you want to see, rather than whats actually there.

When did I get a server?

Well it was either your server, a server you are admin, or someone using Doolittle as a name.

No, I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. I am not wanting to take you on legally. I was trying to clear things up with you for my sake, since I would be mentioning your product in any write up we do. Like "this system will protect you from users of the SuperCheatPack".

...and the idea that I am making money off of your actions per say. I am not a legal person, just a programmer. So I was just musing.. using the word hypothetical, etc.

And I am expecting you to defeat this so-called system. That is why I plan on having an update program. By program, I don't mean computer program, but a monthly fee for any update that comes out. You need to understand how much money people are spending on these servers. It's rather big business. With you guys coming along and ruining that.. ecosystem... I could come in and set the balance.

I suppose a lot of comparisons could be made: graffiti artists tag up the city and then photographers come along, take pictures and sell this book, making money off of someone else's work. Home invasion alarms and window bars are sold because people fear criminals. The whole world is full of examples of people making the best of the situation if you will... the one good thing I'm hoping for is that what you guys have made is rather illegal and so I wouldn't need to worry about paying anyone anything (BIS is grateful for this system so you are all that's left in the equation.). Just like the book people didn't have to pay the graffiti artists. Just like the news doesn't have to pay the murders in the world when they report on them in their show.

Again, this is all hypothetical.

Doolittle

I hope your little venture will be all legitimate. As in if your making money of it, you are tax registered with a small business license depending on where you are based. I would hate for someone to report you doolittle and have you in any trouble. By the way i enjoyed playing on your server the other day, was lots of fun.

Im done, you have defeated me 0_o, In other words, i cant be arsed to waste any more time debating a topic that has no end. You arent here to "win" you say, but you posts mainly consist of arguments. Im not the one with something to prove here, and its plainly obvious by your words you are trying to prove a point.  As soon as you said "Genuine players will kick the shit out of cheaters that don't use cheats "FACT", that shows  how much you know.  I would like to see the statistics and your proof of this claim (simply because it doesnt exist). "I remember playing Americas Army, I was completely shit at first, then once I learned the game (without cheats), I started owning everyone, next thing they all voted to ban me". Im happy for you, thats happened to me on numerous games (but once a cheater always a cheater right?) Bottom line is, you presume to know and understand all cheaters (and as you quite rightly pointed out, we dont know you, and you dont know us). but anyways im done here, i have no more to say to you, as its becoming an endless nitpicking over what the last post contained, and that is diminishing both of our IQ's

Unlimited Ammo is the ONLY script that won't work for me. When I try to run it it will say it cannot find the script.
Make sure your using .sqf its one of the only scripts like init that uses SQF instead of SQS

Unlimited ammo is the only one that i cant get to work either, and im typing it correctly

^ good point

For clarification, To destroy a server i mean to empty it of players, to  make them leave (of their own free will too, not by them crashing etc).  I did not crash the server, nor cause any damage to it whatsoever, i left when there was 5 players remaining, so the server was still running when i left it. this is what almost all of the cheaters ive known over the years do. They dont physically break anything, they (to use an anti-cheat way of saying it) "spoil" the game for others, and thats as far as it goes. Once a servers empty, jobs done.
