ZOldDude,
I am honoured by this legion of merit on your part.

I make These little mods only to amass experiences because unfortunately I haven't much time to play, but when I can, VC is my favorite game. The world of programming fascinates me, and learn how on-line game works, for me, would be an unforgettable experience.

Thank you for everything

Dear friends,
I read this forum about 2 years, but I never write a 3d.

I have a problem in repacking a file using Total Commander.

This is the facts:

In vc folder there is the file "vietcong_eu_01" sized 686 MB.
Using Total Commander I unpacked the file
I made few changes in some files (personal experiments).
Now, when I REPACK the archive (4 directories "DEV", "G", "INI" and "LEVELS") the output file is 1200MB...incredible...but I only changed some text value...
Ok...I copy the output file in VC folder.

When the game is loading the map it go out telling me Map...not found (ie HalongPortCTF).
This happens when is showed the load bar in down.

Had anyone the same problem? How to solve?

Is In total command there a setting for compression to obtain a smaller output file?

Thank you so much
Bye
G
