Hi Jimmy, i hope everything is fine (familly,life,work...)  :icon_biggrin2

I had few coop rounds of VC this summer but unfortunately didn't have time to use it lately,  :icon_cry2
I tried by curiosity the last FPS games and more the years are passing by, more it's obvious that this game is special and undisputed in terms of quality.
If the graphics are old, the fun is still at the rendez vous each time you launch it.

Since Pterodon forum is, whatever happened to it, that's the only place i try to frequently check on for infos.
I would have found usefull if those Pterodon topics were transferred to another forum, now it seems that a lot of people that spended time to dig,search,study,test,fail,find,share... all kind of VC issues for years lost their time.
Where are now all the great tips and help showned by Rick or you? gone with the wind?
Enough BS, i can only express some shame and the fact that all those Pterodon topics would be kept safe in their best legit place, this Tkc forum.  :icon_magician

By inadvertance i found a usb backup last week, with more models, scripts, topics, unknowned files and tools, i added them to what i found on a old HD and it's now a decent museum. If one of you look for something in particular, i'll be pleased to help, whoever.
I also read a topic where some tkc creator was saying he lost all his vc cheats, i found a few of them, if you read this and wants them, i can create a link for you or something.

I wish you the best and thks again for the intensity you've put in helping everybody during those years, big up.  :icon_thumbsup

Tho, It's a good idea and i wish you good luck and hope you'll get more success than the Fox One and such that were just failures from day one.

When i see the adress in the profile, and this kind of topic, i wouldn't jump on it. Don't complain if you get some malware.
Anyways why would you want to pass ce3, there is not even a server in serverlist using it?

btw on the ghisler site, there is a wcx plugin editor, you can create your own wcx plugin.
why would you do that? there is a option that allows you to protect your cbf with a password, good to protect a map level from being recuperated, to protect your mod from being extracted, your cheat...  :icon_thumbsup

So...what i have to do to edit CBF file???
I tried the CBF extractor in download zone but it don't work!

So is there someone that can say me step by step what i have to do!?

install total commander
go to options/compress and select the wcx plugin and type cbf in the blank
click on the file you want to extract and in the window click cbf
don t move the plugin of place once it s attributed

If you don t have Fist Alpha, won't work as you don't have the bes object and the texture; what i would do is extract a map like Nioganh that has the m14 in it and edit the file as Phranz told you, repack all in a cbf and it should work.

I have a big question! How to use M14 in multiplayer without be in sniper class?

I suppose you have to modify the data txt where the weapon's attribution for each class is, pack a cbf with the modified data txt in it, it will be used instead of the normal data txt and won't be detected.

Thanks, but all the credit goes to Solitude from Pterodon who made this possible. Sad this program is not public but i can respect that, it would end with some Bart Simpson or John Rambo models in each maps.

also, modify the data text that is related to the hat, eqp etc, cause it will melt with the texture, best is to create in 3dsmax your custom equipement modle and attach it to your custom head.
since long out of vc, but i am just trying to help, dunno what you re exactly at, but i can confirm you shouldn t get the error in 3dsmax

yeh had a quick look at it, if you installed the correct plugins, you don t get the error.
so if i remember,
in haluz, you import, purge, then import the other model, attribute the bones by RENAMING with the 0a, ERASING the 0b and whatever is there too, 0x etc.
And that s it if i remember, i haven t used this since ages but it s simple, a 10 year old child could make it, then you will have to use a face creator and adjust the textures with many tests...
yeah that s it grosso modo
