Title: SCP god mode helicopter crash = game crash

When you have god mode on, and all your vehicles are immune. When you're in a helicopter and hit something, the game crashes ;( Any ideas what I can do? I'm using XP Home.

I don't wanna get killed ;) or shot down. Although if I crash it should just keep being undamaged, and not crash my game :|

Is there any way to fix this 'bug' surely it's a bug :D

You could make a procedure that detects an imminent crash and disables the godmode.

it must be something else, i used to crash full choppers with godmode on all the time and my game didnt crash, i'd just be sat there in a burning wreck surrounded by bodies :P

however that was on v1.08, any subsequent versions i cant speak for..

I would if I had time to do it. Look around in the forum, ask and you'll learn some basic sqs-scripting.

That's true. I've crashed with a chopper before too. But I had a problem in OFP with chopper crashes in general. It probably was a sound-card issue though.

i have the same problem, occasionally. i think it depends on how hard u crash like taking major damage no crash but 0 - 100% destruction = crash. solution = pay attention dont crash hard. modify your addons so instead of taking no damage they have a 9999 total damage.
