Post by: Hackzor on November 25, 2007, 07:37:39 pm
Hey guys!

Thx

Yea 1.0 will cause problems. You should update. But if you want to remove it, just delete the addon with the strange name in the addons folder.

I should really read the dictionary more often (deinstalling ftw). Never had SCP on my comp personally but do you have to install it? If you do then there will probably still be a registry string on your system. Run > "regedit" (with quotes) > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE and it should be installed in your ArmA folder or if it's not it will have it's own folder. If you find it there delete it to get rid of it completely.

1.1 is the newest version. It should be around here somewhere. But we didn't supply any installer with it yet.

No need to remove anything from the reg. It doesn't put anything there even if there's an installer. ;)

Really? I thought pretty much every you installed has a reg string in the SOFTWARE part...

No, that depends on the installer. The installer we use is an unpacker more or less.

Yes 1.0 is detected. Never seen any detection for 1.1 though.

No, you'll need a program called ultraedit. It has a feature which lets you replace strings of your liking en masse.
