Mullah asked me to pop this in here so here it is

The steps below allow you to add a chat box to the main SCP GUI so after selecting a player, you can console his global chat and say whatever you want. Whatever you type in the chat box will appear to all other players as coming from the player you have selected.

Prerequisites:

Knowledge at least two of the topics below is recommended before attempting this modification

* Practical knowledge of a Object Orientated programming language such as Java, C++, C#.....
* Knowledge of Graphical User Interface principles
* Knowledge of the ArmA virtual machine scripting language




First job is to add the console GUI components to the SCP GUI.

1. RscEditDialog.hpp


1.1 Locate the Controls[] array in class Edit_YOURDEVSTRING_Dialog and add  consoleInput (The text box you will type into)  and ButtonActivateChatconsole(the button that will execute the console script). Now the names of the new controls have been defined we can now add the classes.

Add the following classes after the LAST class in the parent class Edit_YOURDEVSTRING_Dialog   (class ButtonEnd ).

2. RscEditDialog.csv

2.1 Add the string for the  ButtonActivateChat_YOURDEVSTRING_console   button text to the parent dialogs string table:

3. EditDialog.sqs

3.1 EditDialog.sqs can be found in scripts\Edit_YOURDEVSTRING_Dialog. Open it and define the UNIQUE  ID numbers for the controls you have just created :

4.1 Now create a file called console.sqs and add the following simple code:

I edited a few things. The class names and all other variables should include YOURDEVSTRING. Some variables that are used often in maps like obj  a b c x y z are assumed to be secure. I'm not sure if the .csv file string variables need the YOURDEVSTRING. But perhaps it should be added there as well. So it might be a good idea to change that to be on the safe side. (Even the other .csv string names). But you'll need a program that can replace text in multiple files at once, like Ultra Edit.

Hi All,

Just tried these script, by using the automatic install, but it seems there is a problem, when I activate the script using the TKC-SCP dialog box, I only have inside the game 6 menu available : teleport, select, lock/unlock player, rig vehicule and info available, where are all the others scripts available and how to activate them ?

If you want to see the script list either print it out, alt tab or run the info.sqs script in-game.

Just replace init.sqf in the box.  :wink2

The scripts have a special naming convention that should assist you remember their names.


A menu system could be useful yes. But it requires a lot of work and probably requires manual updating for every new script that's added. The current system can be improved by not requiring the path, just the scriptname. It's good as it is now but might take some time to get used to imo.

It works, but isn't finished yet. Got to add calibration for heights etc. Review the math. I was pretty much surprised by the position of the x-y axis contra the 0 deg angle.

You select a position on the map. And throw the guy there. He'll blow when he hits the ground. Accuracy isn't the best. Game g is pretty much dependent on CPU time it seems. But this script will re-evaluate g every time it's used and re-use it for the next throw.



This script will let you throw AIs and other players.

There are a few bugs. When the code above is corrected there's a problem with things blowing up instantly. Probably some client - client issue. I'll try to fix it.

I don't think so. This script will currently make the bomb blow too soon (other client should detonate the bomb instead). So you get g's like 0.006. That thing is just a box from measureg.sqs .

_ch34tsDevString.pbo is the unofficial release version. The official release includes that hint in grav2.sqs. But no arthim.sqs (change to cannonball.sqs) or cannonballhim.sqs because those scripts were made after the official release.

That's impossible. There's basically no chance at all that the patcher would generate that pbo name. You should remove it and run the patcher again if you want to maximze security.

I've only manually unpacked the installer to compare the pbo file against the limited release. Of course I'm not using that name for the pbo file. :)

One of them is mine, it also recorded you. I have some changes to make in ACS on a few servers, once Im dont that those servers just wont show up for you any more, so you wont have to worry about locking up on them

You should explain to the servers you logged onto before they lock you out. Why even have the cheat on your computer if you didn't plan on using it? Now a lot of the good servers won't show up for you. You won't know what you're missing though, so that's okay.

I know how to make GS not show your server in the browser to everyone. They have never fixed the exploit in over 6 years. You would need to reboot the game -on the server end- to get back on the browser list.

ok so i really did look around and i couldnt find any of the updates (unless the one is RscEditDialog.csv change TKC-SCP to something else. i did that and it doesnt do anything) i saw one before but i cannot find it if u could just say where to find it

Yea TKC-SCP has to be changed everywhere in that file, it's for protection against the "Smart Console". PG_Edit or similar (in the same thread) has to be changed as well in order to protect from Dacs.

I never said anything about being able to join the ?? servers did I?
I'm just saying the servers are VISIBLE on the list even if you are IP banned.
You get a connection failed when you try to join them.

Yes they will show up! But you wont be able to see the ping info. It will look like ??

A good example is the AUS servers. They put an IP range ban on every country but their own.

Yeah, to bad we can't upload bans to gameshit to choose who not to announce to.. Oh well, least they are blocked from the server. :)
actually I plan to offer this to all other ArmA servers
just install a simple program onto thier servers and it fetches from our databases, the DBs will be updated by our own servers so the data security wont be an issue

Also its good to only ban on just the server udp port so little fucks like you can see server and know your banned.  :icon_laugh
