im wondering if there is a way to stop the clock when in game on ofp.....this would help alot with the speed hack so i dont have to worry about the time;)
so is this posible and if it is could someone help me please?

You are talking about Multiplayer?
-
yes
-
Yes it's possible, but it isn't easy. I'll think about it. Got to test the speedhack etc first.
May I ask what the purpose is?
-
Because if he can stop the clock he can continue to play at full speed without getting d/c from the server. Cmon keep up boys.
-
You could use something like EstimatedTimeLeft=1000000, but im too lazy to test if it is a local or serverside command.
-
Well first off this means that every client has his own time which is very interesting, most games have got this feature serverside. I could make a try to actually stop the clock via memory. But I doubt I will manage to do anything else (of course I might find the base-code for the time then aswell).

That would be why peeps finish at different times doh. Stop wasting time with these shit cheats. Do some proper ones.

Well, it is possible to stop the clock. But, the MP clock runs on how fast your game is running. Normally it would just count by seconds, but say you throw in a speed hack, your duplex of the game increases (the man moves faster) so therefor your time will pick up too. It would be possible to make a clock stopper but I imagine it would run very sketchy. Unless there is a hanging script out there just for the clock. Well I ran out of ideas so maybe I sparked your mind.

Maybe if you got in a chopper, on autohover, you could search for your speed, therefore creating a completely new type of speed hack. The current available speedhack just increases the speed of the game which affects your: clock, reloading, running speed, shooting speed, etc. If instead of multiplaying the normal game speed, you found out your own speed in a vehicle, you could search for that hex string and edit it. Then change/freeze it to 90. I believe, this would solve the clock problem, while still giving you the extra speed, however I also think that it will not affect your reload time or your gun fire time, making it less noticable... Ill screw around with it, perhaps others would like to try?

Yeah that's a good idea, will try it out as soon as I get some time with OFP.
However as you say a maphack would solve it.
